Automatic Laser Sandblasting Machine

Introduction

Laser Sandblasting Machine is a high-tech device that performs micro-processing on the surface of glass using a high-energy-density laser beam. It vaporizes or alters the physical structure of the glass surface layer instantaneously through the laser, thereby creating permanent, high-precision patterns, texts or textures. Its effect is similar to that of traditional sandblasting, but it completely eliminates the need for any molds, masks or chemical agents, achieving digital, non-contact precision processing.

Core working principle

The laser sanding machine mainly utilizes the "cold processing" mechanism of laser, especially for brittle materials such as glass.

1. Laser generation and focusing: The laser inside the device (usually a CO₂ laser or an optical fiber laser) generates an invisible laser beam.

2. Beam control: Through the mirror system, two high-speed vibrating mirrors precisely control the deflection path of the laser beam, scanning on the pre-set pattern on the computer.

3. Surface effect: When the focused high-energy laser beam is irradiated onto the glass surface, the laser energy is absorbed by the surface layer of the glass, causing tiny cracks and erosion. This process is precisely controlled, only damaging the surface to a micrometer depth without causing the glass to break.

4. Formation of matte effect: Countless tiny, densely distributed erosion points together form a diffuse reflection surface, visually creating a fine matte (sanded) effect. The depth and density of the erosion determine the depth and contrast of the pattern.

Core advantages and features

1. High precision and high flexibility: It can process any complex graphics with extremely high resolution, and even achieve a "three-dimensional" effect with gradient layers.

2. High efficiency: The processing is completed in an instant, and the scanning speed can reach several meters per second, making it highly suitable for mass production.

3. No consumables, low cost: Apart from electricity, the processing process itself does not consume any materials. In the long run, the overall cost is lower.

4. Green and environmentally friendly: It produces no dust, noise or chemical pollution, meeting the requirements of modern green manufacturing.

5. No material damage: It belongs to surface micro-processing, with a small heat affected zone, and will not affect the strength and structure of the glass substrate.

6. Powerful anti-counterfeiting function: It can directly sand the inside of the glass to form an "intrinsic engraving" effect, which cannot be easily erased or replicated, making it an ideal choice for advanced anti-counterfeiting.

Main application fields

Laser sanding machines are widely used in the glass processing industry:

Building and home glass: Decorative patterns on doors and windows, partitions, shower rooms, and furniture glass.

Household appliance glass: Scale, logos, and textures on the panels of ovens, microwave ovens, and refrigerators.

Artifacts and gifts: Personalized engravings and patterns on trophies, souvenirs, wine sets, and vases.

Electronics industry: Logo on the back of mobile phones (such as the early iPhone), touch screens, and the markings and textures on glass covers.

Wine bottle packaging: Brand logos, decorative patterns, and anti-counterfeiting marks on high-end wine bottles.

Automotive industry: Brand logos and codes on car windows and sunroofs.
